Our client is a leading food business with a portfolio of market leading brands and a culture committed to quality and support of all employees. Embarking on an exciting period of growth and innovation, the need has arisen for a talented demand & supply planner to join their newly created supply chain team.

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities including forecasting and replenishment, vendor scheduling, supplier management and inventory control. Your overall objective will be to drive process improvement within the supply chain to improve customer service levels, reduce inventory and obsolescence. This position will play a critical role in the development and implementation of MRP systems and processes that will ensure the continued growth and success of the business.

To be successful in this exciting, newly created position, you will need to have gained experience in either demand, supply or inventory planning from within a fast paced, high volume, high SKU business. Consumer, FMCG, retail industry experience is preferred but not essential. Highly analytical and a excellent communicator, you will have a track history of driving results, have a passion for planning and be comfortable working with a range of MRP systems.
