Our client is a leading food business with a portfolio of market leading brands and a culture committed to quality and support of all employees. Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for a talented demand planner to join the supply chain team.

Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for a broad range of activities including forecasting and replenishment, vendor scheduling, supplier management and inventory control. Your overall objective will be to continue the drive towards optimum forecasting activity and to ensure key client customer service level targets are met. This is a broad and challenging position that will also involve aspects of supply and inventory management.

To be successful in securing this role you will need to have gained experience in either demand, supply or inventory planning from within a fast paced, high volume, high SKU business. Consumer, FMCG, retail industry experience is preferred but not essential. Highly analytical and a excellent communicator, you will have a track history of driving results, have a passion for planning and be comfortable working with a range of MRP systems.
