This global company operating in the food industry has an international network of international suppliers across Europe, North & South America and Asia. With an exciting range of innovative products that are sold into both retail and food service channels, they have experienced significant growth in sales, staff and customers since entering the Australian market.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, your major remit in this role will be to manage the end to end supply chain function including driving best practice demand planning and S&OP processes in order to improve customer service levels, and help drive current business growth. You will be a key contact with overseas distributors, be responsible for effective supply planning, and optimising and improving the logistics function including reviewing 3PL relationships to improve business performance.

Managing a small team, you will be tasked with building a team around you, and critical to this role's success will be your ability to act both strategically and in a "hands-on" manner. You will need to build strong relationships with Sales, Customer Service and external customers.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have worked as a supply chain manager or have progressed through your career in planning and are looking for the next step. Tertiary qualified with experience within an FMCG or Industrial/Pharmaceutical multinational, you will have strong exposure to supply chain processes and systems and have the ability to drive change.
