This specialist manufacturing organisation is a leader in its market and a global supplier. As a result of experiencing significant growth across their Australian operations they have an immediate requirement for a Procurement Analyst to support the category manager.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager your key responsibilities of the role include supporting the procurement resources through preparation of reports and data maintenance, along with assisting in the development of improved stock management processes and quality systems. The role is ideal for an analyst with 2-3 years’ experience and looking for a new challenge. A passion for strategic buying is essential. We are not looking for an experienced category manager but someone who has the ambition to progress into the rate in the next 2-3 years.
To be successful you will have strong analytical procurement experience gained from a manufacturing environment or import distribution business. Experience in medical devices or FMCG would be highly desirable. You will have a strong technical understanding of procurement practices and the ability to work on multiple projects with proven success. Communication across project stakeholders is critical to be successful in this role.
