Alastair joined Six Degrees Executive in 2015 and was appointed State Director of New South Wales in 2020. Al is passionate about building specialist teams that understand the unique dynamics of the local market.
Over the past decade, he has built and led teams across Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Sales and Marketing, while staying close to his roots, continuing to partner directly on senior Supply Chain and Procurement appointments.
With close to twenty years in recruitment, Alastair has partnered with large FMCG, consumer and industrial organisations to build transformational teams during periods of growth. Clients value his ability to cut through noise, give honest advice and move decisively when it matters. He is known for his focus and understanding of the commercial context behind each brief, ensuring every connection strengthens capability and delivers measurable business outcomes.
Internally, ‘Al’ is known for his calm, steady approach - and believes great leadership stems from agility and genuine care. He focuses on creating momentum by going back to basics, celebrating small wins and ensuring people feel heard, supported and challenged.
Outside of work, Alastair is a father of two teenagers and a competitive sportsman, still playing football and golf, and spending as much time as possible in the ocean swimming or bodyboarding.
