Their brands are globally renowned for their quality, consistency and brand positioning, and as a result of growth, they are now looking for an Account Manager based in their Melbourne head office.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for managing a specific category within key retail accounts such as General Pants, Citibeach, Rebel Sports & The Iconic. Your primary function will be to be at the forefront of category trends where you will then set product and sales strategies, which will involve the Go-To-Market strategy, new product development initiatives, range and category management and stakeholder management. Other duties include:
- Set the tone and play an active role developing Marketing activities relevant to the local market.
- Set seasonal sales budgets targets and communicate performance.
- Launch new categories / brands supported with strategic roll out plan.
- Build and present brand & product presentations for seasonal range launches to internal sales, management and brand teams
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either an Account Manager, Account Executive or Brand Manager from within the FMCG, consumer goods or retail industry. You will have a passion and genuine interest in apparel and the fashion industry, and have a strong understanding of brand positioning and account planning. You will be a creative thinker with exceptional planning skills, and bring a high energy to your way of working.
