About the role

Reporting to the State Sales Manager, this business-critical role will be responsible for managing Retail, National Chain & On-Premise customers across the Hunter/Newcastle area. This customer centric position is a true account management position, responsible for the development of customer planning including management of joint business planning, promotional activity, activations, and merchandising. Working in liquor don't forget the perks… you will collaborate with your on-premise customers organising tasting sessions, education dinners for pouring rights. You will collaborate internally with the wider business to identify go to market opportunities where you will utilise various data sources to understand account trends.

Skills & experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated Account Manager or Field Sales Representative experience from within the FMCG industry - retail channel experience will be advantageous but is not a deal breaker. You will have managed commercial customer relationships with ownership of the JBP & sales planning process, accompanied with excellent reporting and forecasting management. You are a dynamic people person, and pride yourself on your outstanding communication and authenticity.
