About the Company

Our client is an iconic global manufacturing organisation with Australian headquarters in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs. Currently going through preparation for a local and regional SAP 'go live', they currently have an opportunity for an experienced project lead to join their management team in the permanent and ongoing capacity of APAC SAP Project Lead.

About the Role

The APAC SAP Project Lead will work closely with a number of internal and external stakeholders to implement Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) and Production Scheduling (PS) modules of SAP across the Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for the overall direction and timeline of the roll out of these modules across ANZ (initially), followed by Malaysian and Chinese markets, designing solutions to standardise processes and ways of usage where possible. You will ensure the completion and assessment of all pre-implementation activities, lead data preparation and migration and develop user training programmes. At the completion of the APAC SAP roll out this role will evolve into a broader supply chain excellence and process improvement role.

Skills & Experience

You will be a supply chain professional with expertise in manufacturing planning in a complex multi-site or regional manufacturing environment. You will have led a number of SAP upgrades or roll outs in your career and have an intimate understanding of the challenges you will face. A first-class communicator and influencer, with appropriate project management qualifications (or experience), you will be able to demonstrate the benefits and value to internal stakeholders of such change, and bring others on that journey.
