My client is a beast of an FMCG business who have a portfolio of brands that continue to grow throughout the retail and foodservice channels. Their head office and manufacturing site are based locally in Melbourne and they continue to be at the forefront of their category due to their continued investment in innovation and NPD. AS a result of continued growth and performance, we are now looking for TWO Foodservice sales specialist in Melbourne.
About the role
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a territory of Foodservice customers such as PFD, Bidfood, HORECA and Wholesalers in Melbourne. Your territory will have a hybrid focus of both new business and existing business where you will be accountable for driving sales growth and activities ensuring budgets & volume targets are met. You will build long term strategic plans with key stakeholders, maintain consistent communication, present on new products whilst also playing an active role internally on all foodservice team forums.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as a Sales Representative / Territory Manager from within the FMCG industry, foodservice experience highly advantageous. Ideally degree qualified you will have exceptional communication skills, be great with your numbers and be a proactive team member who can also work autonomously.
