With continued investment in their local operations and their physical plant assets they have identified a need to bring in another automation engineer to support an already well established team. Their plant is highly automated and they have a high level of drive to adopt advanced manufacturing principles such as industry 4.0.
About the role
The Automation & Controls Engineer role is broad in nature, it does not focus on any one specific area of plant operation, rather it supports everything - capital project delivery, process improvements, troubleshooting of plant issues to deliver increased reliability.
We're looking for a capable Automation Engineer who can work with a good degree of autonomy
- Relevant engineering degree, likely Electrical
- Experienced within manufacturing businesses
- Exposure to highly automated sites and processes
- Strong knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and associated equipment
- Broad experience across projects and operations support
