About the role
This role as an Automation Project Engineer will execute packages of automation and controls work within a broader project structure. Working closely with other engineering disciplines and with vendors/suppliers, you will have work ranging from concept to completion stages - ensuring the most suitable solutions and scoped and procured, contributing heavily during installation and commissioning, and ensuring that completed projects meet quality compliance and regulatory standards.
We're looking for a skilled automation and controls engineer who has experience working on capital projects:
- Engineering degree (likely electrical, electronic or mechatronic)
- End to end capital project execution experiene
- Process industry experience preferred (beverage, dairy, water treatment, pharmaceutical, oil, petrochem etc)
- Experience working with suppliers/vendors
- Strong technical PLC and DCS experience (Siemens preferred)
- Proven stakeholder engagement and influence ability
