About the company

One of the largest FMCG companies on earth, their local operations include multiple production facilities in the food and beverage space supplying both local and export markets. They are undertaking significant capital project work across their network to expand capacity and modernise their assets - a key part of this will be the upgrade and improvement of automation functionality, their on site systems being primarily Rockwell software and Yokogawa DCS

About the role

The Automation Project Engineer works across all project work being undertaken on site, this is primarily capital projects - installation and commissioning of new equipment, as well as upgrades to existing assets, however may also include optimisation and improvement projects from time to time. You will be heavily involved in configuration and programming activities, with the opportunity to also manage installation and commssioning

About you

We're looking for someone with hands on technical experience in Rockwell industrial automation

  • Relevant engineering degree (electrical, electronic or mechatronic)
  • Experience programming the Rockwell product suite - Allen-Bradley PLC & Factorytalk etc
  • Experience with Yokogawa DCS would be advantageous
  • Relevant manufacturing background (food, beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical)
