Brand and Communications Manager
About the company
Our client is a successful global brand looking to expand and further strengthen its position in the Australian market. The business is looking to build the brand via campaigns and digital communications as well as drive its new loyalty app and e-commerce platform to support the launch of its innovation pipeline and meet the ever-changing needs of consumers within their target markets. Due to ongoing store growth and increased demand from the market, the business is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join their team, to help drive the exciting and innovative direction of the business.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will see you manage and implement brand and customer communications through key marketing channels, consistent with the client's strategy and brand proposition. The successful candidate will work closely both cross functionally and with senior leadership on defining the strategic objectives for the brand. In addition, this role will lead the development of initiatives feeding off this strategy, including campaigns, channel plans, loyalty and digital marketing activities so they are locally relevant and drive profitable growth to deliver business performance objectives.
This role will be best suited to a highly organised, customer centric and high performing Marketing and Communications Manager who is able to work autonomously and has a strong passion for innovation. You'll gain great exposure to an exceptional and successful global brand, as well as be a part of a vibrant and super energetic team looking to drive new ways of thinking and approach to innovation.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in relevant space eg. Marketing or Communications
- Prior experience in marketing communications or brand management within a QSR, FMCG or retail environment
- A keen interest or exposure to NPD/innovation and strategy development
- Experience with brand and digital/eCommerce strategy and communications
- Experience at managing budgets and managing external agency relationships
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), presentation and relationship building skills
