About the role
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Brand Manager will manage a high growth potential brand, selling into both B2C (80%) and B2C (20%) consumers, which is currently in growth and holding a #3 positioning in market. The role will see you having total ownership of the brand portfolio from leading NPD based on consumer insights, partnering with local R+D teams through to end to end campaign strategy development and execution (both online and offline including instore activation), trade marketing, collateral / POS development as well as sponsorship and event management.
It's an exciting time for the business as they are moving into new consumer segments and continuing to drive their focus on their digital transformation through developing customer journeys and marketing automation, launching new NPD and upgrading their packaging as well as a refresh to their overall brand guidelines and positioning and continue to build customer loyalty and brand awareness through their sponsorship programs.
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in relevant space eg. Marketing
- Prior experience in a 360 ABM / BM level role within FMCG / Consumer Goods ideally, or within a portfolio where you have owned end to end product development and campaign management
- Experience with managing NPD via stage gate, leveraging global trends and consumer insights
- End to end campaign management experience including social and digital campaign management
- Experience managing agency partners and internal digital teams
- Prior budget management experience
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
To be successful in this role, you will thrive in a hands-on and varied role where you can have your fingers in multiple pies. You will be commercially minded, digitally savvy and consumer insight led in your approach with well-developed organisational skills with solid attention to detail, project management and budget management.
You will be comfortable in translating complex information or features / benefits to meet consumer needs with engaging content and messaging. You will enjoy building strong relationships both internally and with your consumer, understanding their needs intricately. You will pride yourself on your stakeholder management, communication and influence skills and will enjoy working collaboratively and cross functionally within a team-oriented environment.
