About the role:

This role will be reporting to the Head of Business Development which will see the successful candidate deliver new business development through innovative and commercial strategies targeting the healthcare industry.


Duties:

As the Business Development Manager, you will be collaborating with new and existing clients to understand their needs. You will need to be able to identify a new lead and nurture these to close of sales. This role is best suited to someone who thrives working autonomously and canstrategize your working week, taking full accountability for your success. A successful candidate will have experience in working with a CRM system, logging forecasts, pipelines and meetings through this. Other duties include, but is not limited to:

  • Identifying and gaining new business through cold calling, mailing and following up on leads
  • Be responsible for sales pipeline and forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Conduct business reviews, project manage new product launches
  • Exceed sales targets and effectively manage your prospect portfolio
  • Attend and represent the business at relevant events and trade shows
  • Contribute to other team members

Skills & Experience

  • The successful candidate will have 3 + years' experience in a Business Development Manager role
  • Strong track record of driving new business
  • Understanding of practice management software
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proactive approach to work tasks
  • Highly organised and efficient with good attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated and the ability to use initiative
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market is preferred but not required
