About the role

We are looking for a senior sale person who can take charge, identify, establish, and nurture new business networks, relationships, and customers. As a strategic seller you'll have the ability to work closely with prospective clients to provide complex solutions. Working closely with your global colleagues who truly believe that people need to feel cared for and connected to their work. Based in Brisbane with a flexible WFH arrangement and travel where required. Huge growth position with Country Manager earmarked for the future

Duties

  • Grow the business revenue (by converting opportunities to sales) within your market by attracting new business relationships & customers
  • Selling training courses into large comparate companies
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of the key industry / sectors within your market as well as a good working knowledge of other key sectors
  • To achieve monthly / annual business development revenue targets, as well as developing the necessary business development actions that are needed to drive the lead conversion process and to realise viable revenue growth for the business
  • Develop and present business proposals
  • Monitor competitor activities
  • Supporting the rest of the sales team when required
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders of the Skills Consulting Group

Skills & Experience

  • Multiple years experience in a similar business development role, with experience in the professional services sector
  • Experience in Vocational Education Training programs & models
  • Proven track record and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build relationships at a senior level, strong B2B sales accumen
  • Ability to flex and prioritise while deadline driven
  • Excellent skills across the Microsoft suite
  • Knowledge of or experience working in vocational education or workforce development (desired but not essential)
