Our client is a well-known global consumer brand with a unique heritage in bringing premium products and innovation to the food and beverage industry- particularly within the HoReCa, QSR, Foodservice, On-Premise Channels. They have also experienced growth recently in the Premium Retail & E-Commerce space. As a brand-led business based around the highest level of quality and market leading NDP and Innovation. Their business in ANZ/ Pacific Islands is managed through distributor partners, and this role will be a key conduit in driving local sales, marketing, channel and customer development strategies.

About the role

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director (based offshore) this role will together with distributor partners be responsible for driving sales strategies and objectives, identifying key customers and channels for greater growth opportunities and provide brand and marketing support to key partners and customers. You will participate in a broad range of activities from training and coaching in field, developing business and customer reviews and working with global NPD and Innovation teams in regard to local trends in order to meet customer needs and opportunities.

Skills & Experience

Our client is seeking an individual who has experience working in a broad section of roles within their target channels (Foodservice, HoReCa, Liquor On-Premise). Ideally you have worked across sales and marketing with additional experience in trade marketing/ category seen as highly advantageous. The ability to work autonomously and set your own plans and strategies based on the requirements of your deliverables is a must. This is a highly entrepreneurial role which will require an individual who is self-motivated and has the ability to work closely to build genuine partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders- global and regional within the company, with the distributors, with the customers and with key channel influencers. Well-developed communication, presentation, influencing and commercial acumen skills are all necessary to be successful in this role.
