About the role

Reporting to the Country Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for managing direct relationships with New Zealand customers (Countdown & Foodstuffs) and Australian Independent Distributors, accompanied with driving new business throughout Costco & the Petrol & Convenience channel. Your tasked with maximising distribution by managing all forecasting and driving new product initiatives, whilst also delivering upon new business objectives throughout emerging channels, which you will identify through category lead insights in relation to seasonal range opportunities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an FMCG sales gun to come in and make a quick impact in a growing business!

Skills & experience

To be successful in this role, you must posses experience as an National Account Executive/Manager from within Independents, P&C or Emerging channels (Aldi, Costco) from within an FMCG environment (food/beverage advantageous), or you could also be an experienced FMCG State Manager or Category Manager looking to progress a customer management career. Ideally degree qualified, you will have an entrepreneurial approach to managing commercial relationships and have an outstanding capability to tell compelling category stories, whilst also thriving in a changing / growing environment.
