This business has taking the sporting world by storm and are going form strength to strength both locally and internationally. With a product range that is consistent, premium high quality, they are continually growing their presence within a range of leagues, sporting clubs, associations and school. As a result of this growth, they are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager in Melbourne, but focusing on the NSW market.
About the role
Reporting to the CEO / Founder, this role will be responsible for generating new business throughout the sporting industry, targeting accounts in certain leagues, as well as sporting associations and clubs. Working with the wider business, you will collaborate with marketing on new business initiatives, including product training and customer management, accompanied with lead generation and promoting the business. Exceptional communication skills will see you succeed in this role.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated sales experience (new and existing) and we are open to industry! (Sport advantageous) Critical to this role is a passion for sport, and a love for working in a team orientated and fun environment. If you pride yourself on your attention to detail, ability to work in a fast paced environment and are driven to succeed, then this could be the perfect role for you!
Given this role is selling into the NSW market, knowledge of what sporting clubs, schools (private & public) and associations located in the state is required.
