My client an Australian consumer business who are currently going through an exciting period of change. They have a hybrid portfolio of products that are made up by their own brands as well as contract manufacturing agreements within personal care, beauty & consumer goods, and they have local manufacturing sites based in the SE suburbs. About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the direct customer relationship with Coles and Woolworths. You will be tasked with developing and executing strategic customer plans, including promotions, ranging, tradespend and P&L management, accompanied with liaising with the product team on new product initiatives and growth objectives. This role also has the potential to grow within the international market, where you would develop and execute the export plans for China including new product development and production management. You will also manage 2x Customer service specialists in Melbourne.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a National Account Manager or Business Manager from within the FMCG / consumer goods industry, within the grocery channel. You will possess outstanding commercial acumen and have a strategic approach to financial management and negotiation. This role would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast paced and growing environment, where there are huge opportunities for growth.
