About the report
Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director, this role is responsible for managing the 'Living / Leisure' category for their major retail customers including Bunnings & BCF. As the sales lead, you will immerse yourself with key stakeholders to develop strong partnerships in order to increase sales & distribution, whilst also identifying new business opportunities. You will be tasked with developing holistic business & category plans whilst managing pricing / promotions as well as the total P&L for the business unit, whilst also keeping across competitor activity and market / customer trends.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from National Account Management / Business Management experience from within the FMCG / consumer industry, with outdoor leisure / camping category experience being advantageous. Or you could even be a Category Manager from a similar retailer looking to move supplier side. You will have successfully managed commercial customers including JBP's, pricing & P&Ls whilst also demonstrating solid leadership capability. An enthusiastic mindset and genuine passion for the industry will see you succeed in this business.
