Six Degrees Executive has partnered with a leading Geelong based retail client as they undergo a multi-year Transformation. This is an outstanding opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst to join a fast-paced yet exciting organisation.

Note:

There are multiple roles with this client within the Merchandise/Supply Chain space. Below is an overview for a Business Systems Analyst - 9 month fixed-term contract (with a view for extension).

  • Understand financial planning tools (e.g. Aptose Financial Planning)
  • Ability to gather requirements through to delivery
  • Software Development background


The opportunity: Business Systems Analyst 6 month contract day rate

This role will focus on the Merchandising and Marketing systems.

You will undertake different forms of analysis related to the delivery of technology for the Merchandising and Marketing projects.

You will work closely with the development teams to deliver system changes.

You will be required to undertake various levels of application testing to ensure software and changes released into the business are functioning efficiently and meeting expectations, by working closely with relevant end users coordinating and completing User Acceptance Testing.

About you

To be considered for this role, you will need (but not limited to) the following:

  • Relevant degree / qualification in I.T
  • Previous experience delivering technology projects and undertaking analysis, requirements gathering, mapping, and process improvement through systemic design
  • Ability to manage project resources, business stakeholders and third party suppliers
  • Experience with marketing creative systems and retail merchandise database systems is an advantage
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Consultative approach to business engagement and analysis
