About the role
Reporting to the Category Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of category and channel plans, accompanied with providing additional market insights and providing recommendations on pricing structures and POS placements in key retailers. Other key duties will include:
- Provide thoughtful and accurate data analysis and reporting to the wider business to support category planning
- Work collaboratively with the wider sales, marketing and operations to develop and execute innovation and account plans
- Liaise with the national field team to ensure strong activation at store level
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience as either a Senior Category Analyst or Category Manager from within the FMCG or consumer goods industry. Ideally degree qualified, you will have a strong ability to interpret and manipulate data utilising key resources such as IRI, Nielsen or Quantium, and have experience in developing and presenting category / range reviews to retailers. Critical to this role is an ability to work in a fast paced, evolving environment accompanied with a love for working in a close-knit team.
