My client is an Australian success story in the FMCG business that is part of a global group of companies that are market & category leaders. With strong presence throughout the grocery & foodservice channels, they boast a diverse and innovative range that flourished through COVID and is also poised for continued growth in the years to come. A recent acquisition has resulted in positive change and due to this, there is now an opening in their sales team.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Sales, this newly created role will be instrumental in bringing together the wider sales and marketing team to develop and implement commercial category strategies. Owning the category driver development piece, this role will collaborate with the wider business on category planning, range reviews and analytical projects to identify opportunities to further grow their market share. This role will also work closely with retail partners on delivering NPD projects as well as revenue management responsibilities.

Skills & experience

To be successful in this role, you must possess significant category management experience from within the FMCG industry. Ideally degree qualified, your commercial acumen and analytical skills will be outstanding, as will your ability to lead and influence both internally and externally. Working with high performers you must have a genuine love for working in a team environment.
