About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of Category, the Category Insights Analyst will be responsible for the accurate analysis of scan and homescan data, as well as providing support in promotional and category planning. You will be required to deliver inputs into strategic marketing and other initiatives, ensuring insight are leveraged to drive category growth.
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and deliver promotional activity
- Extract insights and deliver recommendations to key stakeholders
- Development towards delivering presentations to retailers around category trends
- Analyse sales and competitor activity for all category and retailer accounts
Skills & Experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience in a category analyst role in the FMCG or retail industry, or you would be an Account Manager working for an agency looking ot make the move supplier side! Degree qualified, you will posses a strong ability to tell a story through data, accompanied with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A love and a passion for working in a team orientated culture will see you succeed in this role.
IRI and /or Nielsen experience is required for this role
