  • Maintaining continuity of supply to avoid business interruption and ensure customer focus
  • Manage supplier performance to meet or exceed business requirements
  • Using, reviewing and supporting purchasing systems and reports to manage purchasing and supplier performance
  • Manage stock holdings to ensure seamless introduction of changes and new products with minimal stock write off
  • Assisting the Category Specialist in developing strategies which deliver and create value for the business


  • Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing or supplier management
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive, a great problem solver and enjoy working in a fast paced, eventful environment
  • The ability to build commercial relationships and ability to influence internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Preferably be qualified in a Procurement or Business discipline, thou not essential
  • Exposure to an ERP system
