About the role
Reporting to the Head of Category, this role will be responsible for owning the P&C channel (as well as specialty customers) for all things category. This will include the development of robust category plans, including range review management, driving NPD projects, managing all data and insights and collaborating with the sales & marketing teams to ensure growth targets are achieved. With a strong NPD pipeline over the next 2 years, this role will be instrumental in bringing this to life within the channel, accompanied with identifying new business opportunities as a true thought leader within the business.
Skills & experience
Success in this role could come from a handful of backgrounds including category management, national account management or category (retail), specifically from within the FMCG industry. Strong stakeholder engagement skills accompanied with prioritisation skills are required, along with an ability to influence across varying levels and drive strong commercial outcomes. This role requires someone who can tell a story through data and insights, and who can manage a diverse and broad customer / category portfolio.
