Product Brand Manger

You will need to have a strong background in product development/marketing - also love all things technical/compliance with products.

Principal purpose of Position

  • Liaise with the global marketing team to adapt & execute local strategy
  • Translating brand strategies into marketing plan
  • Review and update portfolio marketing plans in line with the business objectives
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies
  • Work with external agencies to develop & manage marketing campaigns
  • Manage A&P budget within agreed parameters
  • Review and manage product forecasting
  • Measure and report performance of marketing activities and assess against KPIs & ROI
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges
  • Translate technical details into benefits for the users
  • Collaborate with relevant cross-functional departments including technical, supply, R&D, Key Accounts and sales department in order to reach common objectives

Measurement of Success

  • Achievement of sales budgets
  • Implementation of marketing plan
  • Management of A&P budget

Marketing Activities

  • Develop Marketing Plans
  • Develop marketing campaigns and tactics according to brand plans.
  • Conduct required market research
  • Implement and review marketing activities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in liaising with wholesale, veterinary and retail chains requirements
  • Drive brand awareness through online and print advertising.
  • Organise and attend trade days, conferences and infield days

Measurement of Success

  • A&P spend within budget guidelines vs TO ratio.
  • Achieve accorded metrics per brand, (e.g.ROI) on promotional products.


  • Develop media strategy where applicable
  • Manage production & design of advertisement in pertinent media.

Measurement of Success

  • Measure response to advertisement through industry benchmark ratio.
  • Deliver positive ROI.


  • Vet or Pharmaceutical Background would be welcomed
  • Previous experience as a Brand Manager, Marketing Specialist or Associate Brand Manager
  • Drive for results
  • Creative with ability to think outside the box
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and building strong campaigns
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to key stakeholders
  • Strong Analytical and data driven thinking
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Event and project management (desirable).
