Our client is a global engineering services organisation with offices based in 17 countries. Leaders in innovative technical solutions to their customers buildings, equipment, systems and processes to support them in optimising their use. They are also focused on delivering excellence, embracing key issues such as energy and carbon reduction, investment in digital connectivity and robotics automation.

Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will be a key member of the leadership team with full responsibility for finance, IT and procurement. This will involve business controls, tax compliance, insurance, internal controls, planning and reporting. The CFO will be required to deliver and translate a robust strategic plan for finance, IT and procurement to meet the future growth needs of the Services business. They will drive all operational initiatives, essential to optimizing monthly reporting and planning forecasts. Whilst there is a large focus on driving transformation initiatives on a strategic and operational basis, this person also needs to be hands on.

Project financing is also key to this role with regards to restructuring existing assets, refinancings aswell as cash management of the company working capital facility. Finally, the CFO must build a culture of accountability, develop talent and demonstrate a coheseive and collabarative style of leadership.

You will have a minimum of 10 years in a senior finance role with solid base in business control, consolidation, and a thorough knowledge of company tax laws. This role will suit a commercial finance leader well versed in driving project financing and M & A and activities.. Experience gained in a similar complex IT and digital led services environment is essential.
