Our client is a global consumer goods business who specialise in both health and personal care products found throughout the retail and pharmacy channels. The categories in which they compete have flourished in the last 18 months and they are continually investing in their people, as well as innovation and technology. As a result of this, there is now an opportunity in their sales team.
About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for managing the retail channel which will include both corporate grocery (Coles & Woolworths) and key pharmacy customers. Your commercial acumen will see you lead and manage robust range reviews, business planning and forecasting, whilst also uncovering new business opportunities specific to grocery, as a result of analysis category data from a product and category performance perspective.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from demonstrated national customer management ideally in corporate grocery, however we are also open to pharmacy experience (Chemist Warehouse or Priceline). Ideally degree qualified, you will have exceptional communications skills accompanied with a high level of financial acumen and have demonstrated experience in driving growth and change. This role is suited to someone who is looking to hit the ground running, and who wants to make a quick impact.
