I've been recruiting Head of Marketing roles for some time now, but I genuinely don't believe a role like this comes up often. Initially we need somebody to start immediately and that person may or may not become the permanent hire the business is looking for. The key position of CMO is suitable for somebody who has led a team in a high growth business that focuses on e-commerce. With 20 in the team across brand, product, analytics, PR, Communications, Creative and Performance Media this is an all-encompassing role. While not solely an e-commerce organisation retail marketing is also important. Part of your remit will be to grow the team, push the digital agenda even further, look at other areas for growth within the core demographic and implementing go to market strategies for new products.
