About the company

A market leader within Flexible Packaging. Today our client has 85% market share which is continuing to grow due to production diversification. Key client's within the Australia market predominately sit within the Food and Beverage space with wine representing 35% of the total business. Clients include Accolade Wines, CCA, Schweppes, Lion Dairy and Drinks and Parmalat to name some of the key customers.

Due to the current market opportunity and the client base predominately in VIC they are now seeking to hire a Commercial Account Manager to manage Victoria and South Australia, with the role based in Melbourne or Adelaide. The two key KPI's for success in this role with be based around new business, firstly to expand into new areas with the current customers, secondly, to open the door to new customer profiles to the business

About the role

Reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Sales Manager, this key role will see the successful candidate take control and responsibility for driving the Sales growth and strategy across the key client portfolio across VIC and SA

  • Development and implementation of new business and account management and channel plans across manufacturing and retail accounts to achieve business growth and targets
  • Establish and continue to drive innovation in line with market and industry trends and needs
  • Develop detailed account management plans for all accounts while sourcing new business opportunities
  • Establish structure and process around reporting and communication
  • Lead new business, customer and relationship development across the client portfolio
  • Effectively manage the internal relationships and production capacity
  • Manage all reporting requirements
  • Develop specific channel and category planning initiatives to drive consumption and share of market
  • Develop sales and account management plans to generate growth and profitability
  • Support overall business across cross functionality and efficiencies
