An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Director to join the team leading the sales function across all channels reporting into the CEO.
About the role
Leading a team across multiple markets, this role will take full accountability for the strategic customer, business development, forecasting and financial management for both B2B and B2C. With an already impressive presence across the Asia Pacific market, the opportunity is to leverage this success across new and emerging regions as well as commercialising locally based revenue with a particular focus on ingredients, foodservice and QSR. This growth plan will require leadership from an individual that is able to identify and lead profitable customer acquisition as well as understanding product specification and NPD capabilities to open new revenue streams and expand business offering. You will lead a highly engaged and capable team therefore significant leadership, motivational and empowerment expertise is required along with the ability to engage across a variety of international customer dynamics. You will also be responsible for leading and guiding the implementation of the overall marketing strategy, brand development and positioning in highly competitive and evolving market. It will be required that you bring extensive knowledge of the customer group, competitor landscape and are able to translate market insights into a highly compelling end user offering.
Positions with such broad scope and opportunity do not present often, therefore we are looking for a Director level candidate that has had experience leading tiered customer teams along with building and cultivating successful commercial customer relationships. Your experience will include international markets, QSR and foodservice with some exposure to retail highly beneficial yet non essential. Extensive food experience preferred. Multifunctional leadership across the commercial aspects of a business will be highly advantageous. Relevant tertiary qualifications required.
