As a result of continual business improvement, a new role has been created to lead a high growth business unit as Commercial Director for ANZ.
About the role
The key purpose of this role is to establish and drive a comprehensive, strategic business plan across all areas of marketing, sales and channels to market including retail and B2B customer groups. As the Commercial Director, you will drive the results through your team to achieve sales, growth and profit targets whilst fostering an environment of superior customer engagement and cultural inclusion. Leading on a portfolio of brands, you will require a high level of agility to create tiered customer propositions to grow share across the broader category. This will involve on-going development of effective sales and marketing strategies that further increase the business capability in key areas such as insights, shopper marketing and channel activation.
You will be highly visible across all customer channels as an advocate for the broader accounts and operational field teams ensuring best in class execution of national plans and in-store activity.
Experience and background required
Due to the broad nature of this role, it is essential that you have operated across multiple business functions as a Divisional or Commercial Leader in a matrix style environment. You will possess a strong understanding and capability in developing and delivering a compelling consumer proposition for multi-tiered offerings and be highly adept in leading execution of strategy through people. You are an inspiring and motivational leader that has experience in transitional change, can effectively translate strategy to an operational plan.
Experience in consumer goods and the hardware sector is essential.
