About the role

As the Commercial Specification Manager your responsibility will be to develop and manage relationships with architects and interior designers across commercial markets, initiate and follow up projects, influence, train and develop the sales team in best practice specification management, drive a project management systems and processes, target strategic business opportunities and translate activities into sustainable sales and profit for the company.

Duties

  • Being across all future projects in the Queensland market and building a sustainable pipeline
  • Network and establish relationships with architect's and interior design and construct teams
  • Develop and implement account strategies based on anticipated customer requirements
  • Influence and work with the specialist sales team across the specific channels to market to help manage the project pipeline
  • Be fully responsible implementing new systems and processes that will see the project register from concept to design stage


Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Demonstrated success in sales, with a proven ability to build strong relationships preferably in the specification space
  • Negotiation skills
  • Proficient in use of CRM systems
  • Experience within project management
