About the role
As the Automation and Controls Engineer you will be working in a broad plant based engineering role that has been newly created due to the significant level of automation investment in recent times and expected into the future. You will support automated systems across site, support oprations to troubleshoot and resolve automation and controls related issues, monitor the process to identify and implement efficiency and process improvements, deliver automation and robotics capital projects, and recommend new ways to automate processes across the business from materials receival through to despatch.
We're looking for the following:
- Electrical or mechatronics engineering degree
- Plant based engineering experience
- Experience supporting a manufacturing operation day to day
- Experience working on capital projecs
- Sound technical knowledge as it relates to manfuacturing automation and controls
- Experience delivering automation and controls based process improvements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
