About the role

Reporting to the Communications Director, this highly visible role will lead the corporate and internal communications agenda through a significant period of change. As the custodian of the organisation's corporate reputation, you will be responsible for developing and executing a cohesive corporate communications strategy that builds engagement and resonance with customers, partners, dealers and the public. You will ensure a consistent voice across all channels, provide strategic communications counsel to the CEO and Executive Leadership team, and develop the internal communications strategy. You will lead the management of crisis / reactive communications and be effective at working cross functionally to ensure the company reputation is protected. With 3 dotted line reports, this role will be crucial in furthering the brand through events, thought leadership opportunities and outstanding PR. Given the large employee base of this organisation, this role will also lead all internal communications strategies across a number of geographical locations with functions ranging for engineering to corporate services.



Skills and Experience

You are a degree qualified, senior communications expert with experience across the corporate landscape. You have a proven track record in navigating challenging corporate situations and delivering outcomes which positively position organisations for success. You are at ease working with senior stakeholders, can think outside of the box in how to "own the conversation" in new spheres and operate at your best in ambiguous environments. You are a tenacious self-starter, who will take the initiative to shape the role as they see fit. You have leadership qualities, are confident in your own abilities and are a respected communicator.
