International, premium housewares brand is looking for the next Country Manager in their global structure to spearhead the development of their brand across multiple channels to market in Australia. With a foot hold already in key high end department stores and speciality retail customers, this role will focus on channel expansion and building brand awareness locally with associated partners and ambassadors. This role has been created given the significant opportunity for growth and will therefore shape the future of the brand and range locally in a highly autonomous position.
About the role
Reporting to an APAC Director, this is a role with a high level of global stakeholder management and accountability. Drawing from a highly successful and established brand internationally, you will tailor strategy, range and channel relationships to deliver to the overall global growth objectives. You will be responsible for setting the framework for local management of the brand, transitioning from distributor partnership to a direct model that maximises in store opportunity and commercial outcomes.
This position requires senior sales experience, managing national retailer relationships for a premium household brand. It is essential that you have the capability to independently own and develop customer relationship with an initial focus on department and speciality customer groups. This will be combined with a strong desire to win, a passion for quality and a high level of self motivation.
