About the role
Reporting to the Commercial Head, the Customer Category Manager will take the lead on a business critical category that forms an historical pillar for the business across all grocery customers. Partnering with the wider sales, marketing and innovation teams, this role will play an active lead on developing robust category plans including management of range reviews, accompanied with taking ownership on uncovering insights to contribute to overall business planning, forecasting and NPD focus. This role has the potential to develop into a leadership role and is seen as a key partner to retailers.
Skills & experience
Success in this role will come from either Category Management experience from within the FMCG industry, or you could even be a National Account Manager from whiten the FMCG industry looking to transition into category! Ideally degree qualified, you will be a natural people person and have demonstrated experience in dealing with grocery retailers, accompanied with a strong level of financial acumen and mentoring capability.
