About the role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and with a dotted line to the Head of Sales, you will be required to develop best practice activation & trade plans utilising shopper and retailer market research which will assist in forming annual business plan to position the business as category leaders. You will be required work with global and regional brand and category teams to identify appropriate action plans to drive strong ROI, market share growth and brand presence.

Other key responsibilities include the delivery of shopper-based recommendations to the wider business in order to develop key sales strategies, sales analysis of promotional effectiveness and projected outcomes as well as being an active contributor to NPD projects and pipeline with the local and global category & marketing teams, where you will develop the go to market activation plans.

Skills & Experience

Success in this role will come from demonstrated experience in either a Trade Marketing, Category Management or Shopper Activation role within the FMCG / consumer goods industry. Degree qualified, you will have proven success in in delivering customer experience strtegies and experience in developing trade marketing initiatives and programmes. You will also have an in-depth knowledge (and experience) utilising various data sources to develop category and shopper insights.
