Now, as a result of growth, there is a newly created opportunity for a Demand Planner to join the team.
About the role
Due to continued business growth, there is now a requirement for a dedicated Demand Planner to join the team. Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving S&OP processes and improved planning and inventory activities for all local and international trade channels. You will drive both statistical and consensus based forecasting across a broad SKU range and considerable NPD.
Key duties will include
* Maintain and lead a robust S&OP process
* Collaboration with sales and marketing teams on forecasted sales
* Maintain baseline forecasts on a weekly basis for all SKUs
* Supporting the NPD process and consulting on stock position
* Work closely with production team to ensure ordering is aligned to forecast
* Deliver an improvement in inventory level position
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have proven Demand Planning experience, within the FMCG or Consumer goods industries and display advanced Microsoft Excel skills. You will also possess a track record of success in the implementation of improved planning process, and ideally had some exposure to local and international channels including grocery and pharmacy.
