About the role
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting for multiple regions and will collaborate cross-functionally in order to obtain the latest market data to facilitate the review process. The core objective of the role is to ensure forecast accuracy targets are met and improved on, which will then result in the achievement of service level and inventory targets.
- Create and maintain forecast models using demand planning software
- Review historical sales trends and support the introduction of new products
- Work cross functionally to reconcile forecast variances and refine ways of working
- Maintain data accuracy within ERP system
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will have a strong technical planning skill set along with Advanced systems and Excel capability. Strengths in data analysis and reporting will also be matched by a well proven stakeholder engagement skill allowing effective collaboration across multiple geographic regions.
