Our client is a leading Australian manufacturer that are enjoying considerable growth in the ANZ region. To help support this growth with best in class planning, they are looking for an experienced demand planning management professional to join their leadership team in Melbourne's inner suburbs.

About the Role

Reporting through to the Supply Chain Manager and leading a small team, the Demand Planning Manager is responsible for leading the forecasting and demand management process for a range of products sold through to major FMCG organisations. You will partner with key account managers to manage a collaborative planning process that will continue to drive improvements in the areas of forecast accuracy and reduced SLOB stock across the national network. The demand planning manager will play a lead role in the regional IBP process and educate teams in sales, marketing and operations as to 'what good looks likes'. You will support product development teams with new product introduction and drive improvements in DIFOT and inventory turnover.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be a demand management professional with experience in a mature IBP environment, ideally within the manufacturing or consumer goods space. You will be hands on, resilient and have proven skills working across all functions of an organisation to deliver exceptional results. Your customer focused approach and keenness to work with (and improve the processes of) sales and marketing teams will be the key to your success in this role.
