Our client is an Iconic Australian Fast Moving Consumer Goods organisation that sells through B2B and B2C channels, and who are enjoying considerable growth in the ANZ region at the moment. To help support this growth with best in class planning processes, they are looking for an experienced demand management professional to join their leadership team in the capacity of Demand Planning Team Leader, for an initial 18 Month Fixed Term Contract.
About the Role
Reporting through to the Senior Leadersip Team and managing a team of 5 direct reports, the Demand Planning Team Leader is responsible for leading the national forecasting and demand planning process for a range of products sold through both B2C (the Major Retailers) and B2B channels. You will partner with sales and key account managers to facilitate a collaborative planning process that will continue to drive improvements in the areas of forecast accuracy and reduced SLOB stock across the national network. Importantly, the Demand Planning Team Leader will play a key role in the further development and improvement of the integrated business planning process and educate teams in sales, marketing and operations as to 'what good looks likes'. You will support product development teams with new product introduction and drive improvements in DIFOT and inventory turns.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be a demand planning management professional with experience in an establised S&OP / IBP environment, ideally within the manufacturing or consumer goods space. You will be hands on, resilient and have proven skills working across all functions of an organisation to deliver exceptional results. Your customer focused approach, ability to built the capability of your direct reports and keenness to work with (and improve the processes of) sales and marketing teams as they relate to demand forecasting will be the key to your success in this role.
