About the company
This global blue chip R&D driven manufacturing business develops, produces and markets highly specialised liquid products to markets local and abroad. Having achieved enviable ongoing commercial success as well as having seen strong returns from R&D investment they are now seeking to further expand their manufacturing presence here in Victoria. This expansion currently includes a new greenfield facility that may extend into several hundred million dollars of investment in state of the art automated plant and services.
About the role
The purpose of this role is essentially to ensure that all electrical, instrumentation and controls integrated into the new plant achieve the best business outcome. You will work closely with stakeholders both internal and external suppliers to ensure appropriate systems, equipment and devices are selected and installed in a compliant manner, using your experience to ensure that any risks are mitigated. You will manage project deliverables relating to E, I and C from selection and design, through to procurement, installation, commissioning, qualification and handover.
We're looking for the following
- Electrical Engineering degree
- Project engineering experience working directly for an asset owner (ie. not as an integrator, consultant, or OEM)
- Process industry background (wet process such as pharmaceutical, beverage, chemical, oil & gas etc)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
This role is an exciting opportunity to work on one of the largest capital projects in Australian manufacturing within one of the most commercially successful businesses. Based on historical hires in this space the expectation is very high that this role will either extend or go permanent within the short - medium term.
