As their site expands the maintenance environment changes and grows in complexity, and their engineering stores require strong leadership to improve procurement and inventory practices.
About the role
The Engineering stores supervisor is responsible for maintaining and improving procurement and inventory practices within this busy maintenance environment, ensuring accurate and effective parts control processes within the stroes facilities. This includes inventory verification, stock adjustments, stock rotating monitoring, storage planning and monitoring, resource managament and documentation, ongoing criticality analysis and budget planning. You'll manage a large multi-million dollar parts budget, and provide leadership for the team through times of change and transformation, as well as drive continuous improvement initiatives.
We're looking for someone fitting the below:
- Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent (engineering, supply chain, logistics)
- Experience managing stores within a manufacturing environment
- Fully conversant with WMS, ERP and CMMS systems
- Understanding of warehouse/stores systems such as RF scanning
- Proven leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience managing large parts budgets
