Our client is an iconic health focused Not for Proift organisation in Victoria who provide advocacy and extraordinary research to the wider community. They have a huge focus on employee culture and are centrally based (with flexible work arrangements). The organisation has a strong legacy of successful fundraising, particularly through community events and there is now a fantastic opporuntiy for an Event Liaison Manager to join their high performing team to drive income.
The Event Liaison Manager is a pivotal stakeholder relations role in the organisation with a heavy emphasis on internal and external relationships. With team of 2 coordinators, the role manages the relationships with over 20 volunteer Events Committees statewide. This includes providing stellar support to each committee to run their events, with the focus being on operational excellence, community engagement and income generation. The role does require some Victorian travel, as well as some out of hours work (with a Time in Lieu policy in place). The Event Liaison Manager will be a strong leader and motivator, as well as a problem solver, with strong financial management and planning.
