About Our Client

Our client is a well-respected seminar and events body, renowned for their academic excellence and industry knowledge among health professionals. They are currently seeking an experienced Events Administrator to join their team.

The Role

The Events Administrator is responsible for supporting the Events team in the successful delivery of events by providing administrative, logistical and organisational support. This is a hands on and collabrative role, enabling office and interstate event participation;

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Organise and schedule logistics relating to events
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Preparation of event collatral and gift packs
  • Provide ICT support for events
  • Process event registrations, cancellations and manage waiting lists
  • Attend and manager registration desk during events

About You

  • Strong initiative and problem solving ability
  • High level administrative and event skills
  • A strong customer service focus and service delivery
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proficient in MS Office and a CRM database (Events Air or EventsPro is desirable)
