The Executive General Manager Philanthropy and Supporter Engagement is a newly created role, leading a team of dedicated professionals to create innovative new channels for income generation to support their programs. As part of the Senior Leadership team, there is a mandate to create a collaborative, strategic environment to create inspiring and engaging content which facilitates partner development. There is an opportunity to strengthen digital channels to engage with new donor audiences to broaden the demographic and develop a new supporter donor journey. Firmly within a growth phase The Burnet is seeking a leader who can think outside the box and be bold in their choices to drive supporter growth and income.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you must be an inspirational leader with ambition, drive and a finger on the pulse of current national and global trends in the fundraising space. You will be an innovator in the digital landscape and have a history of revenue generation through the development of new channels, utilising data and insights to support planning. You will also be a strong influencer, negotiator and communicator, leveraging relationships to further grow and develop your team's capacity to generate income. You will be a master storyteller, finding the right narrative to reach your audiences and captivate them with content that draws attention to the programs that Burnet Institute run so well.
