What is less well known is that one of it's sub-brands is also renowned as a global leader and exports it's ventilation solutions worldwide, an Australian success story.

About the Role

Reporting into the ELT this unique role is an amazing career opportunity for a degree qualified engineer (mechanical, chemical or industrial) to take responsibility for global market development. Working with distributors across North America, the Middle East and Europe, the role will be responding to technical project enquiries (ie reading architectural drawings) from end-users, consulting groups and other influencers to not only assess, quote, win and track projects but to also manage, coordinate and facilitate local manufacturing, warehousing and export documentation.


With local R&D, this business critical role will also understand global 'green architectural' trends and feedback NPD opportunities whilst also working with local sales teams to drive specification opportunities locally. Also charged with identifying new distributor opportunities, this really is a global market development role representing an iconic Australian brand. You will be supported by a world class team and have the opportunity to collaborate internally to develop digital case studies, video content and raise the profile globally to drive the business forward.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Whilst export experience is not essential, we have been tasked with finding a commercially minded engineer from either a mechanical, chemical or industrial discipline who is geopolitically astute and culturally sensitive as global markets will range from Canada, Germany & France through to the US, South Africa, Saudi Arabia and other high-growth Middle Eastern markets. Needless to say the role will require excellent problem solving skills, highly developed numeracy & commercial acumen, a curious mind, exceptional attention to detail and a passion for science. Given the unique nature of the role, you will ocassionally receive enquiries outside of hours and therefore have a strong customer service ethic. Ideally you will have experience in or knlwledge of fluid or thermal dynamics.
